Anguilla Resort Residences

Anguilla – location is everything! Anguilla has an undeniable appeal, even when compared to other Caribbean paradises. There is a certain joie de vivre, a sense of being alive that permeates the island and its incredibly beautiful beaches.

Let’s take a look at two beachfront resorts in Anguilla offering luxury residences that may be ideal for your Caribbean retirement – or maybe even sooner!

viceroy anguilla

Viceroy Residences

First is Viceroy Residences, a truly stunning development that offers a variety of living possibilities. Fully furnished with custom decor by renowned interior designer Kelly Wearstler, all Viceroy Anguilla units feature private pools, state of the art technology and many more amenities. You can choose from villas, townhouses, “residences” and penthouses ranging from $500,000 to $6M. Over $60 Million in properties have been sold in the past year.

Heidi Mitchell in the New York Post has this to say about Viceroy Residences:

The lure: With a year-round tropical climate, 33 white-sand beaches and only a small number of high-end resorts and villas for rent (some of which can command six figures per week during peak season), quiet and beautiful Anguilla is as close as you can get to a private-island resort (with a lower price tag).

Key developments: The Viceroy Anguilla is set on nearly a mile of beachfront. Each home has its own pool and lots of glassy walls — perfect to watch the sun set or rise. All that beauty sells for $500,000 to $6.5 million, which gives buyers entree to all the resort “samenities.” The competitor: Zemi Beach, a boutique beachfront resort set to open in mid-2015 with 28 two- to three-bedroom residences and penthouses with private plunge pools. It’s being designed by architects Lane Pettigrew Associates, and homes start at $2 million.

Zemi Beach Residences

Zemi Beach

The second residence resort, Zemi Beach, is still being built but they are offering a “Founders  Package” that may tempt you to buy in early.

Zemi Beach Resort and Spa is a stunning boutique retreat, positioned along the famous shores of Anguilla’s Shoal Bay East, listed by Discovery Channel as the “World’s best all-around beach”.

The Founders Package offers a 15% discount from the sales price. As a Founder, if you are unsatisfied with the purchase up to 3 years after the resort opening, the developer will buy back the property at the purchase price you paid.

One bedroom to 3 bedroom units are available. Prices start at $650,000.

Here is what Zemi Beach has to say about their residences:

Zemi Beach’s luxury residences embody an understated tropical splendour, capturing the beauty of Anguilla’s natural surroundings. Each two- and three-bedroom luxury retreat exemplifies stylish Caribbean living featuring a private pool and terrace, oversized bathrooms with outdoor showers and direct access to the beach.
